Desmond Tutu on Barack Obama
For some quick links before I hit the Theology Pub, today a friend forwarded on a copy of a recent commentary written by Desmond Tutu (everyone's favorite Anglican) on Barack Obama's recent election, its meaning for Africans, and the nature of the hope that it represents. I would encourage you to read it. Maybe I'll comment later when I have time?
I would also encourage you to check out some commentary by another international Anglican leader, who isn't quite as famous. My friend Kelvin Wright at Available Light recently put up a post commenting on recent elections in New Zealand and the US which I found interesting. His blog is an engaging chronicle of a life lived with cancer, and it's worth digging through.
